This is my burundi front that I recieved at my first MCA event, which was a swap meet for the Nebraska chapter at Fish World in Omaha. I got this from MBovinet's group in a small trade for a fish I had brought. I really didnt know much about frontosa but figured it couldnt be any different than my africans, and thus far it hasnt been.

I thought it'd be cool to show a few pictures of his transition up to today.

This is when I got him home in a 29 gallon tank with a group of Aul. Hai Reef. ~1.5"

The next one is of him in the newly aquired 125 gallon tank when I went Malawi crazy.

Same tank a month or so later, you can see the color and striping is more intense. Some growth even in 1 month.

2 months later, you can see its grown "taller" wise in this pic. The rock sort-of throws his size off.

Here it is. 1 year old, 125 gallon tank. Its bigger.

Now I got the 360 gallon setup, here it is when it got up running. Im thinking he will grow very fast now with all the space.

in just 2 months later, you can see his head changing and body growing.

It's quite the transition for a fish thats just ~2 years old (since hatched, not since i had it)
Later!
