Yep theres not a problem with that just feed them the day you leave....

I prefer to not feed them than trust someone else to do it who has no idea what theyre doing

I went to KC for 2 days and fed them before I left like Loacheman said up above and everything was fine when I came back. Boy were they happy to see me though. Hungry Jack. :lol:

I've gone 5 days about four separate occasions now with no problems.

wow thanks a ton every one it reasures what i thought . i have heard that more fish will die from being over fed then under fed . so thanks to all you fish veterans

Just think of it this way, holding females of most mouthbrooders hold for at least 14-21 days without eating for the majority of it - I would not worry about 2 days at all.
