I think this might be a Syno. Angelicus, but I can't remember what Larry had it marked as.
That is a Syno Angelicus. They can have white or yellowish spots. Very sweet fish, but one of the more territorial of Synos.

A nice looking Angelicus, I have two of them in my 75. I like the ones with big yellow spots. How big is he/she? Looks similar sized to mine probably, around 3-4"? Mine still have alot of growing to do.

About 4". Not my fish. It's at Larry's LFS, Aqualand Pets Plus (http://www.aqualandpetsplus.com/) in DSM. Very nice fish though.

Is anyone in the Minneosota/Wisconsin/Iowa area breeding the synodontis angelicus?....or is this one of the syno's that aren't being bred in captivity? Thanks.
I am not sure if they have been bred yet or not. In the last 6 months there have been quite a few reports of new Synos being bred. Not sure if the angelicus was one of them or not. I know they are breeding decorus and eupterus now.
I know they are breeding decorus and eupterus now.
I thought that eupterus are breed using hormone injections or something more along that line - aka not methods the average hobbyist would ever use.
That could be Ron. I had seen some tank bred Eupterus for sale so I know it is being done by someone.

I just picked up 2 angelicus from a wholesaler north of Fort Worth on my way back from the ACA Convention. I had won a bid for a pair of wild yellow comps that he brought to the ACA Auction on Sunday.
I was going to get an angelicus while I was down there, but we left so quick I never managed to hook up with the guy that had them! :(
