i keep my 'Lamprologus' stappersii in a 20long with a penguin 350. but then again all my 20l's have a penguin 350!

what do you do so fry wont get sucked up the tube??
I've moved shells of fry to 10 gallon tanks with the penguin mini filters and I just put a sponge over the intake. The fry tend to stay at the bottom of the tank until they get a bit larger. I'm not sure I even needed the sponge over the intake.
I tried this with angelfish fry and they would still get caught in the sponge covering the intake. I got them a sponge filter and an airpump but needed water changes daily.
Shellies seem much easier to raise and didn't need those live BBS.
