Thread: New Haps

    Default New Haps

It's been a good bit since I bred Lake Malawi Haps. So I figured I'd give it a shot and found a few that I had some intrest in. All came in good today. I'll try and snap a few pics of them tomorrow. I got in some WC Aristochromis christyi "Malawi Hawk", WC Buccochromis rhoadesii "Yellow Lepturus", WC Fossorochromis rostratus "Malawi Sand Diver", Protomelas sp. Mbenji Thick Lip "Haplochromis labrosus". Most have some good size to them. Not to get them settled into their new homes.

Wow some fish you don;t see all that often. How big are the Rostratus? I have a little guy I am trying to grow out but he gets chased quite a bit by some of the bigger Haps. The Rhoadesii are cool as hell too.

I'd say the Rostratus are 6-8" now so still babies. The Rhoadesii came in the largest with the males being I'd guess about 8-9"

Can I ask where you ordered these from? I am looking for Rhoadesii and Rostratus, and here in Texas no one has them.

    Thanks!
