I got bored today, so I decided to make a DIY tank divider. This is how I made it. I took some kind of fence that was underneath my deck, and I used some black picture stuff. Ill post some pictures. :D

Fishman, is the material for the divider composite or actual wood? If wood, make sure it was not pressure treated as the chemicals could be bad for the fish. Another thing you can try for future tanks is the egg crate that is used in flourescent ceiling lights.

I have always used eggcrate as well. Looks good though. You could always use a latex paint on the wood if it is treated to seal it. I believe latex paints need to cure out a week or so before being placed in aquariums.
